Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. What an amazing history it has! We often found ourselves imagining life.... back in the day; as well as during WWII when the home was taken from your family and changed hans 9 times ( Glad you got it back!).
With 9 of our familymembers, the home was big enough to have space and not be "heard " or bothered. There were so many cool places to go to just unwind . ( The pool, the gardens, the tennis court, the swans who were my favorite!) The history around this area was amazing as well. We got a thorough (all day) tour of D-Day and went back to the cemetery to see the ceremony playing " taps" (Quite moving as a Normandy vet was there). We visited the Mt St Michel and many cool towns. This will be a vacation we will always remember.
Our week spent at Courcy was amazing, Most of it was spent in the lovely warm pool and on Utah beach. A wonderful relaxing time; Would love to come back
The Ba.... from Maryland USA had an unforgettable time at Chateau Courcy! We celebrated 2 birthdays and a 4th of July ! Merci !
Everything was perfect. The experience here excceded the anticipation of spending a week in this home and on this property. I expected the trip of the lifetime - and that's what I got .
From the catered meals to the pool to the hospitality extended by Jean and the staff, I could not have asked for anything better.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with our family and friends. We came with 14 people and were more than comfortable . The kids absolutely loved the pool , the gardens and feeding the pony. The swans were also a big hit! The adults enjoyed walking the grounds, lounging by the pool and the various gardens, the fire pit & living in a part of history. We would love to return one day !
